This scammer put this posting on November 2009
I contacted him on 11-17. as of today, the posting is no longer there (11-21-09) but he emailed me lettingme know eBay can send me the payment process today since I had not heard back from Ebay. I’m glad my son told me to Google the name.

This is the email history:

11-17-09″Hi, I am selling this SUV because my platoon has been sent back to Afganistan and don’t want it get old in my backyard. The price is low because I need to sell it before November 24. It has no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects.Vin#JN8AZ08W85W415935. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn’t been involved in any accident..I do have the title , clear, under my name. The Suv has 69,000 original miles.
It is still available for sale if interested, price as stated in the ad $5,000 . The Murano is in Billings , MT , in case it gets sold I will take care of shipping. Let me know if you are interested, email back.
Regards!!!”
The posting in in Phoenix, but the car in MT? so I told him I can drive to see it since I’m close and to please call me. (sadly, I gave my# ) this is his reply: ”

——————————————————————————–
Right now I`m in a military base. we are getting ready for Afghanistan. I don`t have my cell with me. We`ll have to stick to email for now as this is the only way I can communicate. The shipping can’t be a problem because I can do it at no cost for you. You will receive the suv along with all the documents including title, bill of sale, full service records and more .Because it is a large transaction we will complete the deal only using an authorized third party like eBay, using their Business Purchase Protection Program. The payment will be handling by eBay and you will benefit of 5 inspection time period (test drive) and the option to accept or reject the suv on my expense. If you are still interested just send me your full name and shipping address. I will forward your info and they will notify you about our deal.”
So I sent my address and this is what he said:
“Let me know if ebay contacted you regarding our transaction so we can make the final arrangments. Mickey”.
I asked for additional pics, and no reply.
Like a dummy, I contacted him on 11-21-09 since I didn’t hear from eBay, and he said;” I’ve been in contact with ebay and they said you should have the ebay confirmation already sent in your email. If it isn’t there maybe you can provide me a different email address and i will ask ebay to resend you the confirmation”

within minutes of providing a differnt email, I recieved info from ‘EBay” ebay@securedealings.com that Mickey Daan had $20K fraud protection. I emailed ‘EBay’ back for a contact # as I wanted to get ahold of them, they replied that for my security there are no phone #’s for them and to send my $$ to an agent Jessica Rogers 1739 Sloan Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46203 United States & to fax the confirmation papers to (206)-339-6066

Thanks for whomever put the posting.
