2004 Impala scam?

I found this mint condition 2004 Impala on craigslist which was locally available to me. Asking$ 2400 for this beautiful looking car. I emailed the seller Lisa7Sawyer@gmail.com to ask questions. I left my phone number and email for contacting me. I recieved an email back stating the info about the car and a story about her being a single parent with money problems. They also stated that they needed my full name and address to start a case with ebay as they wanted to use ebay for the transaction to protect the buyer and the seller. That seemed odd to me. As the price was alreay to good to be true and now this!? I googled the email and the first thing to pop up was fightthescam.com. Im obviously not pursuing this any futher but should I be concerned because they have my email address and phone number? I most certainly did not give them my full name and address because that seemed odd as I had no info on this person. Should I be concerned about the info they do have?

Thank you!! And I am so glad I found this site! I am also never using Craiglist! That was the first time I attempted to use the site and this is crap

  3. Corey says:

You don’t have to avoid craigslist; use it to meet people in your neighborhood. Like the site says, “Avoid all offers to ship cars.”
