Latest Craigslist auto scams & emails

This was from a stolen template from a legitimate dealer – Diehl Ford in Bellingham, WA. So if you see any ads with this dealer’s name and address at the bottom, and you’re not anywhere near Bellingham – it’s probably part of this scam. I just reported almost 850 ads to Craigslist’s abuse department and some of those had a 9/19 post date. So it’s possible not all the ads have been posted yet. (And I don’t know if CL has a way to stop them.)

I think a lot of the names on this list are new – I didn’t recognize them. So please be careful when you’re replying to an ad like this.
