Earlier today I found 4 ads for this one. That’s not a lot of ads but they were in Denver, Nashville, Providence, and Reno – which aren’t close to each other at all. There was no email given but CL’s standard “reply to” was turned on so I sent a message asking about the mileage. Here is the reply I got:
“Hi, here is some more info.
I am selling this car because my platoon has been sent back to Afghanistan and don’t want it get old in my backyard. The price is low because I need to sell it before 08th of april. It has no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn’t been involved in any accident.I do have the title , clear, under my name.The car has 81,355 miles,year is 2000 and VIN is 4t3zf13c1yu273795.It is still available for sale if interested, price as stated in the ad $2750. The car is in Great Falls, MT, in case it gets sold I will take care of shipping. Let me know if you are interested, email back.
Of course I answered the Denver ad because that’s where I live. Now suddenly the car is in Montana? And the seller is going to Afghanistan? And he’ll cover shipping? Yeah right. SCAM.
