Tuscany Granite & Marble

We contracted for the purchase of an installed granite counter top with Tuscany Granite and Marble through Consumers Kitchens and Baths. The deception started from the beginning. We contracted for a mid range priced granite. The rep refused to show us slabs which were in our price range and instead insisted that we pick and worry about price later. Needless to say, our first few choices were from higher categories. I insisted they point out those pieces within our contracted budget. We picked out a slab of granite and an edge other than that which was included in the contract. We were charged an extra 450$ for this special edge. My wife went to the store to affirm the layout of the template on the slab to be cut and realized they had the wrong slab. They corrected this at that time and found the correct slab. When the workmen came to install the top, it came to light that: A: it was not from the slab we picked TWICE and B: the edge we were charged for was not done. The standard edge had been cut on the edge. The experience with this company has been fraught with deceptive practices and unprofessional customer relations. All attempts to resolve the issue have been ignored.
