This is what the seller proposed to me. It sounded to good to be true, and it’s because of sites like this that I quickly realized that it was a scam.

My car (2001 Nissan Maxima) it’s in perfect condition, it has only 86,546 miles, almost brand new, no scratches, no dents or hidden defects…it’s just the way it looks it is. The price is $2800 if you buy it now. It has also a clear title.
First of all I want to tell you that I am in Anchorage, AK. I am selling the car for such a low price because my squadron has been sent back to Afghanistan for the next year and I don’t want it to get old in my garage. I have to sell the car before 10 August.
I will handle with the shipping everywhere in USA and I will cover the shipping fees too. The car will be shipped in a crate container directlly to your home address in maximum 3-5 days.
I am a member of eBay Vehicle Purchase Program and we will use this program in our transaction.

How it works:
