I am selling this suv because my platoon has been sent back to Afghanistan and don’t want it get old in my backyard. The price is low because I need to sell it before July 25. It has no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn’t been involved in any accident..I do have the title , clear, under my name.The suv has 81,000 miles, year 2002.

This means that I do a special training program and I am not allowed to get out of the unit or give calls whenever I want. The shipping can’t be a problem because I can do it at no cost for you. You will receive the car along with all the documents including title, bill of sale, full service records and more …Because it is a large transaction we will complete the deal only by using an authorized  third party like eBay, using their Business Purchase Protection Program.The payment will be handled by eBay and you will benefit of 10 days inspection time period and the option to accept or reject the car on my expense. Ok. I am interested in buying the SUV … but have questions. Through ebay, or any way, do I pay up before seeing the car? I want to be sure that the car is in good conditions before paying. How would you make the car get here? Could we do something like have the car arrive here, and once I check it (20 min inspection) just make sure it is running and all, I will deposit through either ebay or whatever method we use. That’s my question about the ebay protection program, would the car be here before I pay? Or do I pay, see the car and get my money back if I decide to reject the car? And if I do pay before having the car here, who holds the money? .. ebay? I just want to make sure the car is in good conditions before purchasing. By the pictures, I am indeed inlove with it, it looks perfect and intact, but would need to check motor, engine, etc. Know what I mean?

You will send the money to eBay and as soon as the payment is confirmed they will notify me to proceed with the shipping. I will ship the car, you will receive it and you will have 10 days for inspection. The inspection time period will begin as soon as you sign for receiving the car at your requested address. During all this time eBay will hold the money into a trust account. So, this is not a blind transaction, you can see the car before decided to buy it.

It will be shipped by plane with US Air Military Cargo. They will get it to the nearest airport in your area and then it will be trucked forward to your home address.  It will take around 4-5 days until it will be delivered to your home address.

*update*  Last email received was This morning (Tuesday at 6:00am) with a supposedly eBay email saying the transaction will happen via western union! haha!

    I am receiving the exact same emails from Jeffrey Davis at this time. I seem to be one day behind you. I guess I will receive the phony ebay email tomorrow. As I read the emails between the two of you, the words from Jeffrey Davis are identical in the emails he has sent to me. The only difference is that I was supposed to be buying a 2005 Nissan Altima and I live in north Mississippi. Thank God I did a Google search on Jeffrey Davis and the military base in Montana. When I did, I could not believe it. I was practically reading the messages sent to me. It is a disgrace to our military that this loser would use the armed forced to try and pull this scam off. I am curious if anyone has actually followed through with this. Even though the Western Union bit would have thrown up a red flag, I am thankful for you posting this scam and letting others know before it is too late. Thanks a million, or at least $3900. ha ha

    Same thing happen to my sister he said he was going to iraq and needed to sell his car asap!! She has three small kids and now she has no car, she sold her car for the 3900 lucky she did not send the money!! I want this man caught! How dare he trick innocent people that just need a car! He may not get caught here on earth but GOD will punish him!

    Yep, EXACT thing w/me; same verbiage. Thankfully I googled it and found all this. Hopefully giving name, address and ph. # didn’t hurt me. I messed w/the jerk and responded to his last email (b4 I got the ebay thing, which probly would be tomorrow if I hadn’t sent this) and cc’d to fake name @fbi.gov. Being a scammer, he probly knows it’s a fake, but just hope it scares him for a minute that I called the FBI on him. And maybe I just will… cops any help w/this stuff? There’s gotta be a way to stop jerks like this. Just a perfect example of “when it sounds too good to be true, it is.”
