My name is Eric, I am emailing you regarding the quads that I have for sale.
The quads are absolutely perfect, never got any repairs,clear titles and they have never been involved in any type of accident or had any paint or body work done. Also, tires are 90% good ,one has 50 hours, the other one 30 and the price is only $2,800 for both quads and 4 helmets!
I’m selling my son’s quads, who died in Iraq four months ago and I want to get rid of them asap because the sight of them makes me think of him often and often and the pain is too great,he was using them with his girlfriend…. Put yourself in my shoes and you’ll do the same (selling the quads of your dead son, no offence)..!
The payment will be made through eBay protection program and only after you will receive the quads, I will receive the payment.Below you can find a link with some pictures.

Hi Bill,
The quads are at the shipping company in Austin TX sealed and ready for shipping. I have a contract with eBay so this deal must go through them. According with eBay you have 5 days from the time you receive the quads to inspect them and decide if you want to keep them or not. Here is how it will work:
First of all,I will need the following details from you: full name, full shipping address. After I have received these details from you, I will forward them to eBay. After they will process your info, they will send both of us invoices. On the invoice you will find all the instructions on how to complete this transaction. eBay will contact me and I will ship the quads to you. After you receive the quads you will have 5 days to test them, verify them and do whatever you want with them. If you are going buy them, then I will receive the payment details from eBay so that I can pick up the money.
If you decide that you won’t buy the quads, eBay will refund the money and I will have the shipping company come pick up my quads. If you wish to make the transaction, please send me the necessary info so that we can proceed. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

after the last response i asked for the name, number and address of the the shipping company to verify that the quads were there. Also i asked for his/her ebay account user name and item numbers because if they were using eBay then i should have been able to see them on eBay and i could not…After this i never got a response back. he tried to rope me in in the email with the sob story of his dead son, and at first i bought it and felt so bad for them. it just goes to show that these types of people will say anything to get your money.  If it had not been for this site i would have been out a lot of money.
