2006 BMW 325i ADA on Craigslist for ATL/Chamblee, GA
Here is an e-mail exchange I had with a “seller” on Craigslist. I asked for additional pictures of the vehicle twice, and got a non-responsive answer along with a request for my name and address. The vehicle was supposed to be in the ATL area but is suddenly in Canada.

As I’m unable to travel in the near future and I don’t have anyone to help me with the sale I decided to make this transaction through eBay using Vehicle Purchase Protection Program.I believe this protects both buyer and seller and it’s the right way to do this.I already contacted eBay and asked about the shipping, I managed to obtain a low cost shipping, only $800 and I presume it would be fair to split the shipping cost so, we’ll pay $400 each. Meaning, that the car and the shipping/handling will cost you a total of $3,600.The program is based on the fact that the money wil be sent to them and they will keep the money until you receive the car and only after you inspect and drive the car they will forward the money to me.You have 1 day to inspect the car and I get the money after you make sure everything is ok and decide to keep it.We surely won’t have this case with my car, but if you find something wrong at the car you have the option tu return it and you will be 100% refunded by eBay.
It is very important for me to know if you have all the money to buy it or you need to get a loan for it.If you are still interested please let me know your shipping details(name,address and phone number) so I can open a transaction case with eBay and declare you as buyer.They will contact you with further information regarding payment and shipping.

We will do the transaction through eBay.To finish the transaction you have to spend money and time and i do not have time for testing cars,travelling and making papers.eBay will take care of everything.The car comes with all the documents ( title, bill of sale, full service records, etc…) The car has a clear title in my name. The title will be signed into your name as soon as the down payment will be sent to ebay. The car condition is great, no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects, never been wrecked and no accidents of any kind.
