Craigslist ‘out of town’ cars..

While looking on Craigslist for a used car in the San Francisco area, there were probably 50-100 that were too good to be true. As always, buyer beware.
Sent emails to 2 sellers and received similar responses about the car being out of state and would require shipping and the eBay Vehicle Protection Program.
One had the car in Billings, MT, stating the owner’s platoon was being deployed to Afghanistan and he needed to sell….

The 2nd car email thread is below:
The car is located in Fargo,North Dakota at the shipping company (I just moved here with my new job), we will use eBay Purchase Protection Program so we be both protected and insured. The price for the car is $3,500 with shipping included. I just need your full name and full address so eBay can send you the invoice in which you’ll see how to make this transaction. The shipping is free I will take care of it and I will send the car with all the papers (vehicle registration, warranty papers, transfer papers etc).
Now I am just waiting your full name and address to complete the shipping papers and start the delivery process.
