This person just posted an ad in Indianapolis. I contacted, asked why the price was so low ($4000 for a 2008?). Here was their ad and reply:

Beware of this LAURIE GOLDEN character, whoever she/he is. The email address used by this scam artist for correspondence regarding the Craigslist ad is, “LAURIE_GOLDEN@MSN.com” The excerpt below is copy from a Craigslist ad this perp has listed:

    “Harley Davidson 06 – $4000 (Tamba Bay)
THE BIKE HAS NOT BEEN RIDDEN IN OVER A YEAR. IT HAS BEEN CRANKED AND GAS CHANGED TO PREVENT DAMAGE, AND BEEN RODE AROUND YARD. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN KEPT IN A ENCLOSED SHOP. THIS BIKE IS AWESOME! THIS BIKE NEEDS NOTHING BUT YOU TO RIDE IT!!”

Now, please note His/Her reply after I inquired about purchasing this almost too-good-to-be-true” deal:

    “Hi,

I find it very interesting (not to mention coincidental) that this person has the very same plight while trying to “sell” a Toyota Tundra (see the 11-04-09 post re: Toyota Tundra). When asked for a phone number where she/he could be reached, I was met with resistance and excuses, as I’m sure they are aware that tracing is often far easier with a phone number. Things that make you go, “Hmmmmm?!”
