Toyota Rav4-scam!!
A man by the name of Robert Miller from 2954 Curtis St, Denver, CO 80205 was claiming to sell a 2003 Toyota Rav4 for only $3000! This proved to be a complete scam when he told me he wrote the following:
“The payment will be made safely under eBay’s vehicle purchase protection program. you can see below how this works: I will contact eBay and give them all the info about you (full name and address). they will begin the transaction and will offer their vehicle purchase protection. You’ll have to send to eBay $3,300 (in held by eBay until you receive and inspect the vehicle) and once the payment is received, they will confirm your transfer to me and i will begin the shipping process. You will receive the car in maximum 5 days, and after you’ll test drive it and decide to keep it, you’ll notify eBay and they will forward the funds to me. If by any reason the car is not as described or if you find any problems with it, I will arrange to ship it back (on my cost) and you will be 100% refunded. But I’m sure you’ll love it because it’s a good vehicle. you will have 5 days from the time you receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not. i guess it’s pretty fair. The price of the shipping is $280-300.Please reply back with your full name , shipping address and phone no so we can start the arrangements!”
Don’t believe anything they say!! They’ll take your money and run. If you think it’s too good to be true then it is!
